Pretty Amazing! Doesn't look like the same freeway at all.

Edit: Heres another vid from the same guy on the 91 West in Corona in 1985 Pre I-15 interchange

Wow very cool!  Thanks for sharing this!

That's awesome! Thank you for sharing. I remember when it looked like that.

I always thought it was a trip that the WB 91 to NB 5 was a left-exit.

To bad that was changed during the 1990s when both freeways were widened/redesigned. The only left hand exit on at a freeway interchange I can think of is NB 710 to NB 5 in Commerce.

NB 5 to NB 710
SB 710 to SB 5
WB 91 to SB 55
NB 110 to NB 5

off the top of my head.  The Hollywood Split doesn't count, nor the East L.A. Interchange.

that's like saying the Ford Mustang and the Acura NSX count as sports cars... but the Enzo Ferrari and Bugatti Veyron don't!

down here in San Diego, some of the 15/94 ramps are left-exits.

The opposing movement (SB 710 to SB 5) is also a left exit/entrance

The KNX traffic report mentions nearly all the freeways by only their name.

I think his point is the East L.A. Interchange left exit (NB I-5 to NB US-101) doesn't count because it was originally the thru route (when it was all US-101) and is still the continuation of the Santa Ana Freeway. Likewise, the Hollywood split left exits are continuations of the same freeway names (Ventura and Hollywood) even though the route numbers change.

However, southbound on I-5 at the East L.A. Interchange, the ramp to CA-60 is a left exit from one freeway name to another (Golden State to Pomona).

Though KNX used then (and still uses) the greatest traffic report sounder I have ever heard.  And they still have darned good traffic anchors.

Regarding names versus route numbers ("The 110 Freeway" instead of "The Harbor Freeway"), I wonder if that's because freeway names are not as frequently posted by Caltrans on their BGSs as they once were?

Most of the freeway names I see around the Southland are on older BGSs.
