Roe Boulevard West Bridge in Patchogue, NY; NRHP Worthy

A while back, I read on some website (which I just remembered was "BridgeHunter.com" ), that the Roe Boulevard Bridge over the Patchogue River and Great Patchogue Lake was eligible for a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Obviously it's not listed, but my question is should it get an NRHP listing?

Bear in mind, that unlike the Maryland House, and the Old Hewlett South Side Railroad of Long Island Depot, both of which I've advocated NRHP listings for in the past, I have some serious doubts about this. The only bridge I'm more doubtful about is the Broad Street Railroad Bridge in Brooksville, Florida.

Well, what would make it historic? A lot of things are eligible, but that doesn't mean they would get registered. Application to the NRHP tends to be based on community or state interest. In this case, I don't see that happening.

Aside from being an arch bridge built in 1920 in relatively decent condition, and going over part of the Great Patchogue Lake, in a somewhat prestigious part of the village, not much.
