If you were thumbing through the job ads this past Sunday (like I was), you might have noticed a legal notice from ODOT that they are seeking public "input" on their transportation plan(s) for the next 25 years.
So welcome to Access Ohio 2040 - http://www.dot.state.oh.us/Divisions/Planning/SPR/StatewidePlanning/access.ohio/Pages/default.aspx
The website lists the last long term transportation plan, from 2004, some currsory documents, and an interactive survey (there's your public "input").
Send them your interchange corrections, highway additions, and philosophical musings as how to pay for it all.
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

Oh lol I saw this link somewhere else and didn't think it was serious.  Sent one in, for what it's worth.

Interchange corrections: I could think of 2 interchanges mentionned in another thread. ;)

The folks putting the study together, at ODOT, don't follow this board. If you want them to do something about Beaverdam and Jeffersonville, go write to them directly. Otherwise, those two locations will stay on this site's wishlist.

I took that survey.  As far as funding, it seemed more focused on how to best use the meager budget they have, rather than how to get more revenue.  I suppose that makes sense, considering ODOT does not set its own budget.

Anyway, there's a reason there's no direct interchanges between I-75 and US 30 at Beaverdam or I-71 and US 35 at Octa (not Jeffersonville, that's the next exit / outlet mall!).  Traffic volumes don't justify the expense.  There are plenty of higher priorities, like bypasses and interchange redesigns where the highways haven't kept up with growth over the decades.
Wait, it's all Ohio? Always has been.
