Dream about Street View before there ever was a Street View

I remember a strange dream I had when I was about 14, sometime around 1987.

I dreamed that I had access to something that was pretty much exactly like Google Street View. It had photos of all the roads and you could advance along each road just like Street View does now. I don't think it was on a computer. I think it was a special type of book in a library where you'd advance by turning the page. In this dream, I looked at photos of a freeway in Connecticut or somewhere.

I dreamed of Street View before there ever was a Street View!

Were you able to turn from one road onto another?

I think you could turn onto any road you wanted. The book was magic in that it covered every road.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".
