What a fucking prick. I can't wait for him to get caught (or end up seriously injuring himself due to his moronic behavior) so he spends a lot more time away.

Unless the cyclist had his license plate bent upwards, I'd say the cop got the license number and the authorities will look it up and pay the cycle owner a visit.

If not, it shouldn't be too hard to subpoena a few IP addresses, since my understanding is that the video was originally posted on a Facebook page.

I don't want anyone getting injured here, but he certainly has what's coming to him.

Exactly.  FWIW, even though lane splitting is not illegal in California, THAT kind of reckless behavior is.
