Another Ralph Modjeski bridge down. He seemed to love having the truss above the roadway on suspension spans, pony trusses.

I don't recall, is the buckled span the 1930s one, or the 1950s one ?

It's the 30s one.

Is it just me or do 9/10 of the bridges maintained in or by Iowa have problems?   The state really seemed to go into "Oh, shit!" mode after the I-35W collapse.
