Anyone remember when they used to make over-the-counter or prescription drugs in chewing gum form? I think it was inspired by the chewing gum craze of the '70s and '80s.

I remember back when I was 12 (in 1985 or 1986), I had to use one of these chewing gums that contained an over-the-counter medicine. You couldn't blow bubbles with it though, because it hardened very quickly.

This is different from doctors prescribing nonmedicinal gum, like when a dentist prescribed Freshen-Up bubble gum to a member of my family.
Might as well face it, pooing is cool

US 81

I remember when Nicorette was prescription only, but that's the only medicine-gum I knew about; medicinal candy, OTOH....
