Unless there's some rogue US 86 sign somewhere, I'll just skip ahead to 87:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Jake found a "US 86" shield on CA 86:

My dad and I still wished we had cameras the day we spotted a US 86 goof in Three Rivers.

there is a US-86 in El Centro, CA.  That's about the only US-86 out there!

classic 1961-spec shield shape, even!

Sorry to double-post, just really wanted to post a cutout US-91:

More Kodachrome, complete with unusual arrow plates

And more cutout action -- US 93 cutout in Nevada, just south of the US 6/50 junction east of Ely. This sign has reportedly been replaced with a standard non-cutout marker.

Lots of good ones in this thread.  There's a small photo of a US 94 from the 1930's linked from on the Wikipedia page for the Tamiami Trail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Us94thumb.jpg

Of course, these ones aren't hard to find.

This isn't the real US 97, it's a glorious goof in New York.

I can't think of any US 100 signs, so let's skip to US 101:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

paulthemapguy

I don't know if anyone has any 100s, 102s, or 103s but I found this photo for a US104, presumably on its former alignment.  Photo by Doug Kerr, uploaded to flickr and wikimedia.
