Who knew US 278 in South Carolina could take you to Switzerland (on a stretch that's an excellent alternative to the craziness that is I-95)?  June 21, 2008.



And then there's New York 278 in Brunswick.  April 7, 2001.  Suprisingly, my one and only picture of a route I used to travel quite a bit when living in the Berkshires.
