AR 265 Extension

I had an opportunity to check out the AR 265 extension north of Springdale today. Old Wire Rd north of AR 264 is still being widened, but parts of the new roadway are being paved. Traffic is a mess, though, partially due to lane restrictions during the surfacing. The new road will be 4-Lanes until just north of 264, where it will remain 2 lanes (but there is a proposed new alignment from 264 south to Randall Rd so maybe that's where it will tie in).

The 1st Street connector is still under construction, but the north end at Silent Grove Rd is almost finished. The south end at Cross Hollow Rd still looks like a clusterf*ck.  Also lots of work on 1st Street/Arkansas Ave in Rogers. The road is being widened, straightened and there's a new roundabout at E Oak Street that's not yet signed and is partially blocked.
