Overhead crosswalk lights

I know of two locations with overhead crosswalk lights that aren't just stoplights at trails for pedestrians to cross.

And a much older design:

I know the Malt-O-Meal ones only light up fifteen minutes or so between shifts, but I have no idea weather the one in Zumbrota shuts off anytime or not.

Has anyone seen any other variants of these, ie one where you press a button and the lights come on?

These are huge in the Puget Sound area.  The ones in Seattle tend to just flash 24/7, but ones in Bellingham tend to be actuated like the ones you're looking for.

Fayetteville, Arkansas has a few of those now along the Scull Creek Walking Trail. One crossing upgraded from a flashing yellow to a full traffic signal due to heavy auto traffic.

There are some of those along Northwestern Ave in West Lafayette, IN at one of the Purdue parking garages. Those are on 24/7. Nobody actually stops for pedestrians there. There's another one connecting the parking garage to the municipal ice skating rink down by the river that, if I remember correctly, activates an overhead animated pedestrian crossing sign. It's very unique. I'll have to get a picture next time I'm up there.

One that I've never noticed myself but found while messing around with new Street View imagery.

Notice the lack of a marked crosswalk.
