There are at least 3 of these on Maple Grove Ave in Hudson, MI:

There's a specific-service sign on WB I-270 approaching exit 23, with some mixed font usage.  The word LODGING appears to contain a very boxy D like in the very first pic of this thread. I'm pretty sure the sign is less than 15 years old, and I don't think it uses button copy.
Wait, it's all Ohio? Always has been.

Perhaps someone has the PennDOT number font somewhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't some of those signs in the LeHay font? I remember seeing a topic covering it in the Road-Related Illustrations subsection.

Baton Rouge is using a font that looks like FHWA but not exactly. Maybe a stretched version of an FHWA font?

Here's an example that's obviously and egregiously stretched: (Unfortunately I don't happen to have any good examples in my inventory at the moment. I'll try go get one.)

It's worth noting that PennDOT has their own variation of both the Series C and D fonts that gets used on trailblazer & reassurance signage every now & then.  The left sign in the above-photo is an example of PennDOT's interpretation of the Series C font.  The one on the right is FHWA Series D.

Here's PennDOT's interpretation of the Series D font along PA 23 at Valley Forge.

Personally, I'm not a fan of either of the PennDOT-style fonts.  Both look like a cheap knock-off of the FHWA fonts.

It's definitely not Clearview. Here's an example of a 2.

I heard you the first time. Are you saying the 20 MPH sign I posted above is also "stretched Clearview"?

I'd have to see more examples to be sure, but I believe it is Blue Highway. Freeware FHWA Series knockoff that used to be the only road font us roadgeeks had access to, until the lovely Roadgeek fonts were made.
