Had a chance to scope out some well regarded old signs we talk about from time to time today.
Some are fading fast and dropping off quickly.  All still there as of today!

From my flickr page:

Some non-reflective button copy:

Found two more today:

(1)  I-395 SB approaching Exit 91 in Danielson.  BROOKLYN - NEXT RIGHT / PROVIDENCE - SECOND RIGHT.

(2)  I-95 SB Exit 83 to No. Frontage Rd... Briggs Street/Coast Guard Academy ->

That US 1/Groton one is a great find... never have seen that one before.

There is also another one on the same ramp it says "US 1 to Ct-12 Keep Left" but didn't get a chance to snap a pic.

I'll have to go back and get those.  Thanks ShadyJay! Seems to be a lot of old stuff around New London etc.

Here's the Briggs St sign.  Bad quality, I didn't have time to stop. I'll get a better one next time.

I was on eastern I-84 yesterday and went looking for the old white sign someone had found. I had thought it was here but either I was wrong or the sign is gone.

Per Streetview it's down the road a little ways right here: http://goo.gl/maps/njwV4 (and apparently was still there last June)

It's gone. Only the I-84 shield remains. I presume this will show up on ebay or in a certain CT someone's collection soon.

If it's white guide signs you're looking for...these are still there in Derby..  Plus I think the "AIRCRAFT ROAD" sign is still there as well along CT-9.

Not here......i picked up two wood guide signs earlier this year, so aluminum ones wouldnt interest me unless three specific CT towns were named...and Hartford isnt one of them!
