PA I-95 55 MPH Speed Limit--Your Thoughts

In Pennsylvania, I-95 has a 55 MPH speed limit.  Do you think the speed limit should be higher?
I understand having a 55 MPH speed limit in Philadelphia because of the higher volume of traffic and close proximity of exits, but I believe the speed limit should be 65 outside of Philadelphia.

Actually, traffic goes faster in Philly than outside it (when it's not jammed), but yes, it should all be 65.

In Massachusetts, speed limits often switch between 55 and 65. Somehow never 60 though.

I've driven I-95 from Center City (I-676) to the Delaware line and I feel that it could have a higher speed limit, when I drove it traffic was going about 75 once outside of Center City and about 70 within Center City.  I got passed by a cop when I was going 75 and I wasn't the fastest on the road.

Lots of mention of this 55 zone, but what about the one on I-99 through/near State College?  That's a huge load of bullshit if there ever was one.  I run on the governor through there, and not many people are doing anywhere near 55.  Fuck it.

PA will drop the speed limit to 55 if a fly lands on the roadway.  All the speed limits in the state, just about, are 5-10mph too low.  Mostly 10mph too low.

Having driven a lot in West Virginia this past weekend, I think the Mountaineer State does it right.

70 MPH on Interstates, even with plenty of horizontal and vertical curves (it's legal to go slower).

65 MPH on ADHS expressway-type roads with some at-grade intersections (some even signalized).

50 or 55 MPH on rural arterial highways.
