Closest 3dis With the Same Number

What are the closest two 3dis (or just list 3dis that are close in distance in general) that exist in separate states, for obvious reasons when 3di numbers reset.  This excludes 3dis in cities on state lines where the route is one route, but in two different states (I-435 in Kansas City).  This also excludes 3dis in two separate states that either are intended to be part of the same route but are not complete at this moment or were intended to be a part of the same route but were never completed because of opposition or feasibility.

Once upon a time there were two I-265s less than 10 miles apart as the crow flies. However now they are officially a single route, although still signed as two separate routes (or at least it was as such the last time I checked).

The VA/DC I-395 and DC I-695 are only about 30 ish miles from the MD I-395 and I-695. I-470 in Kansas is fairly close to I-470 in Missouri (60ish miles or so).

I haven't been down there since March and the connecting section wasn't signed then. Haven't seen any indication that it has changed since then.

The VA/DC I-395 and DC I-695 are only about 30 ish miles from the MD I-395 and I-695. I-470 in Kansas is fairly close to I-470 in Missouri (60ish miles or so).

And if the Somerset Freeway had been built, you could have had another pair of I-695's about 40 miles apart.

I agree. I believe that the entire route should be I-475 and the orphaned section of I-475 in Ohio should become I-875.

Unless you want a goofy "horseshoe"  for 475 north of Flint, there would need to be a connector built from US 23 to the south end of I-475 south of Flint to make I-475 a realistic thru corridor. I-75 could be used, but it involves a backtrack and the 23/75 interchange and the Flint 75/475 interchange would both need to be made full interchanges

That said, a unified 475 designation does make sense from Toledo to Flint, I think anyway

There's about 70 miles between I-495 in MA and unsigned I-495 in ME.

Closer yet as the South Philly Expressway was to become I-695 if it had been built. 

There was even an I-895 briefly in DE through Wilmington which is less than 65 miles from Baltimore's I-895 at the time.   Then, a proposed I-895 in PA and NJ to cross the Delaware River south of Bristol, PA and Burlington, NJ.
