News:

The server restarts at 2 AM and 6 PM Eastern Time daily. This results in a short period of downtime, so if you get a 502 error at those times, that is why.

How costly is it to build above freeways?

At one time, there was a proposal in DC to build the baseball stadium above I-395. Not sure whether that ever got any serious consideration. It would have been insanely expensive.

Do you remember where it was supposed to be? I can't even fathom something like that going over any portion of I-395 (or I-95 as it was back in the day) after the expressway was completed.

Near L'Enfant Plaza and west of those townhouses that are south of the highway and west of Seventh Street SW. The idea never got a lot of traction, which is one reason why I wonder whether it was ever seriously considered. The site that was ultimately chosen seemed like the front-runner all along.
