Most miles in one day, most states in one day...how about something new?

Some things to note:

-You have a magic boat that can take you down any river, lake, or ocean - non-navigable or not. However you must figure out how long it'd take you to get to and from the tripoint to the shore. Assume calm waters and no wind.
(For reference, 1 knot is 1.15 mph; boats typically travel at around 15 knots or 17.26 mph)
-You also have magic climbing equipment that lets you take the fastest route up and down a mountain. Basically, any side walking/hiking trips don't count.
-International borders count, as usual.
-Time zone shifts are allowed; DST isn't because DST is stupid.

Here's my attempt; by car/foot/short boat trips I can reach 11 tripoints in 19.5 hours (map) and an additional 2 tripoints by sea (total of 13). From Conneaut to the Ontario border is 23 miles (add one hour); from OH/PA/ON to NY/PA/ON is 40.5 miles (add 1.5 hours). In total, this trip would take 22 hours without rest.
Pleased to meet you

Surely you could take a detour to hit both DC/MD/VA tripoints within the 2 hours of extra space you've given yourself. Especially if you consider one of them to be directly under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

Also, I doubt you'll find any better attempts anywhere else. The states in the northeast are just too much smaller than the rest of the country.
