Counties that number their roads

Hey everyone. This is something I wanted to ask about, considering that this is actually quite prevalent in Arkansas, but many counties don't properly name their roads, primarily outside of city limits. They're assigned a number instead, pretty much every single one, and quite often they'll use a county road sign to denote that. Some of these county road signs can be pretty small, but they're still visible by all means. This mostly seems to happen in much more rural counties, although some more counties with a higher population (such as Washington County, Arkansas) also do this. Do other specific counties in other states also do this too?

This is not the same as a county having a proper county road network, New Jersey and Minnesota do this but it's not the same as what I'm bringing up here.

I'll provide some example photos that I've taken showing this.

In order:
Woodruff County, Arkansas
Lee County, Arkansas (which uses a non-standard county road sign)
Madison County, Arkansas (which uses four digits instead of three; Johnson County, Arkansas does this too.)

I'll bet all counties in the state have a numbering system for their roads; the difference is that some counties sign the route numbers, while others don't.  That's the way it works in Illinois, anyway.
Avatar is the last interesting highway I clinched.
