I knew it was either Texas or Louisiana based on the frontage roads and the OP's hint that I had the right region. I vacillated for a while between I-20, I-30, and I-49 before realizing they were fairly hilly (and in I-49's case, too forested). That led me to check I-45. I picked the grassiest spot which just happened to be that image. Kind of misleading, as I-45 is not very flat outside of Houston.
