The photo looks a bit like Iowa, which I believe is why I-35 and I-80 have been guessed already. I-29?

Not I-29 either...

I will say that I cropped a pair of speed limit signs out of the image, so that may be a clue.

This may come as a surprise, but this is in the Ohio Valley region.

You got it! This is just north of I-64.

The two speed limit signs are of course the standard 70 mph and 65 mph for trucks. I wasn't sure if that would be a tip off that this was in Indiana, as I know there are a few states that do this.

I remembered that they did this in Indiana but wasn't sure if they still did, since neighboring Ohio no longer does.  And I had guessed I-64 first thinking Indiana, somewhere west of I-69.  Looks like I wasn't too far off!

Nice, Louisiana was my first instinct as well because of the edge barriers. They have a very specific look that I've never seen anywhere else.

Yep that's I-49 northbound on the south side of Alexandria, LA.

And now that you mention the bridge parapets, I think I see what you're talking about.  I think I've seen a similar shape on 1st gen Jersey parapets from the late 70's in Kentucky.  The best examples I can think of would be along I-24 in the Paducah area.

A few things have me thinking this isn't NY, including that curve sign.

PA, maybe? How about I-81?
