NY 25C route shield on Union Turnpike

I just uploaded a photo of one of the NY 25C route shields that was recently installed on Union Turnpike in Nassau County, resurrecting a route that had been unsigned for 33 years.  See http://www.greaternyroads.info/roads/nystate/ny25c.  Enjoy!

Unless the shield was removed between May and now, there is also a westbound NY 25C route shield as well.  I have pictures of that shield waiting to be uploaded onto Flickr later this winter.

That's correct.  They installed one in each direction.
