I was checking out the new 2015 Hyundai Sonata (see here) and can't help but notice that the preview images show the international (Korean) model. The euro-spec licence plate and the white signal lamps on the headlights give it away.

I know the Germans like to do that on their websites (BMW, MB, etc) but usually the Koreans show the "destined" model. Just an observation. Just a single click to the right shows the US model:

I only noticed this because I much prefer the clear signal lamps w/ amber bulbs. I think the amber reflector and amber bulb is unnecessary.

Since it is a pre-production model they probably didn't develop different photos for every different market; I'd bet a small amount of money that once these are actually on sale you'll see US spec photos.

I'm sure this is very common among foreign manufacturers, especially the Europeans.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

I was thinking that maybe it wasn't, but I checked, and the Sonata appears to be a global car–which surprises me, because most of the entries in this hyper competitive market segment have a North America-specific model or variation (Camry, Accord, Altima, Passat, etc.) where the changes go much deeper than just side markers and license plate holders.
