Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

I'm glad he made it to 100. Not the greatest of American Presidents, but Carter has been a very admirable man. He's a Navy veteran and one heck of a humanitarian.

He is the first POTUS to reach the age of 100.

And yeah, I think that's pretty much everyone's assessment of him—maybe not the best at being President, but he has (arguably) more than made up for it with his post-Presidential activities with Habitat for Humanity.

Happy 100th birthday, President Carter!  Live long and prosper.

He wasn't a great President, mostly due to his good nature and being somewhat naive as far as national and world affairs were concerned. But he was far and away the best human being ever to occupy the oval office, and has proven that for the last 43 years (so far).

I was born during his administration.  Hard to believe he has lived over four decades after retiring from the White House....almost beyond imaginable anyone could live that long in retirement.  He's probably the only former president to live that long post presidency; I don't know if there is anyone else has even completed three decades of post presidency.

He was born during the Calvin Coolidge administration -- that means 17 presidents in the last century, with an 18th soon to be elected.  And get this (this is absolutely mind-blowing): He was born only seven-and-a-half (7.5) years after John Kennedy (JFK) was born (1924 from 1917)!

He also lived through 13 presidential funerals during his lifetime, he has seen four of them since he left office.  The three most recent presidential funerals (Ford, Reagan, & Bush Sr.) all completed their ninth (9th) decade.

Definitely the best human being ever to be president, even if he wasn't the best president.

Hoover lived for 31 more years.  Ford fell about two weeks short of 30.
