StreetView: Blast from the Past

You can now go back in time if the location had old StreetView imagery.  Very helpful when you want a picture of an old road sign.

I've found that IE displays the new Google Maps without much (or any, really) problems.

I wonder if you have to be using the "new" Google Maps for the feature to work? (Probably.)
