Wonder if Jim Harbaugh will have what it takes to help Justin Herbert get over his playoff hump.

Depends on whether or not he's stealing signs.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

and if they are MUTCD compliant.  :bigass:

We are (probably) witnessing the best season ever by a QB whose team missed the playoffs.

You referring to Burrow or Nix? :)

I can't believe how easily I forgave him for that haha.

Didn't save Ohio State this year with him gone.

Likely not the Bears at Packers game.

Either Lions vs. Vikings or Seahawks vs. Rams

Either Lions vs. Vikings or Seahawks vs. Rams

The problem is that the Rams may have the division sewn up based on this week's games - strength of victory tie breaker. Unfortunately the last one is Monday night but they will need to make a decision on SNF by then.

My guess is that if the Vikings win today, it will be Detroit v. Minnesota.

Further guess is that you will see Rams and Seahawks Saturday night, the NFC meaningful games in the early Sunday window and the AFC games in the late window.

SEWIGuy

The other advantage to Rams v. Seahawks on Saturday is that both teams won't be going in with less than a week's rest.

From Blogging the Boys:

Packers officially pass Cowboys for most playoff appearances in NFL history
The Dallas Cowboys have been dethroned atop the NFL playoff appearances mountain.
QuoteHow is the Packers' recent playoff appearance related to the Cowboys, though? While Green Bay is moving on and Dallas is not, what is significant about it is that the Packers have now passed the Cowboys for the most playoff appearances in NFL history.

I'm afraid of a massive letdown from Jayden Daniels tonight.

Packers just don't have the horses.

If it's not Vikings @ Lions, then I don't know what it will be.  That's the most worthy game to watch to determine the top NFC seed.

Wow. Win and you're the 1 seed, lose and you're the 5 seed. A lot on the line for SNF next week.

This is even better than the 2019 49ers vs Seahawks matchup.

It's a playoff game. Whoever wins advances to the conference semis.

Mike
Jaguars hold the tiebreaker at 2-10.
Jaguars won today, so the Raiders are now in line for the first pick.
Raiders won. So it is now the Giants.
Giants won, so now four 3-win teams, Patriots now on track for the first pick.

Dan Campbell seriously needs to do the un-Dan Campbell thing and sit his starters in a meaningless game tomorrow. Injuries piling up, de facto playoff game next week that will be on a short rest, playing a physical 49ers team with nothing to lose, and the looming possibility of a wild card game on the road.

Dan Campbell won't do it because he's Dan Campbell. You take the bad with the good I guess.

thspfc

I hate to make two posts in a row on the same topic but I'm genuinely sitting here in disbelief that Campbell is playing his starters tomorrow, and the Lions fans I've seen are defending that decision. This might be the worst single-game player personell choice I have ever seen in the NFL. Up there with Belichick sitting Malcolm Butler for an entire Super Bowl.

Max Rockatansky

The Lions aren't going anywhere in the playoffs if they are going to let every team march all over them offensively.  This game is really showing how bad the injuries have piled up.

webny99

Just realized the Vikings-Lions regular season finale will be the first time in NFL history that two teams with 13+ wins have faced off in a regular season game. That seems almost impossible, even considering the recency of the 17-game schedule.

jgb191

This is the most exciting time of the year -- the NFL playoff-clinching scenarios!

The Texans will host one of the following teams in the First Round of the playoffs (the so-called Wild Card Game) provided certain conditions are fulfilled on Week 18:

The Ravens if they lose AND the Steelers win.
The Steelers if they lose OR the Ravens win.
The Chargers if they win AND the Steelers lose.
