I'd argue the soundtrack was the best part. U2, PJ Harvey, Brandy, Seal, Massive Attack, Mazzy Star, The Offspring, Method Man, Flaming Lips. Solid, solid lineup.

Also played Jim Morrison...a role that annihilated the aura which surrounded The Doors' frontman's career.

I was really glad to see Val reprise his 'Ice' character in Top Gun Maverick; that was a touching moment.  Also liked his star role in Batman Forever.

He was incredible in The Doors. I seem to remember reading he even did his own singing (no lip sync). If so, he was a dead ringer for Jim Morrison in nearly every respect. Shame about the script.

KKBB is my favourite Kilmer movie. He was tart, irascible and efficient. Robert Downey Jr was amusing, but Kilmer made his role.
