I understand having an alternate numbered routing.  But an alternate development corridor?  Seems to me these should be ordinary plain Alternate US-72 assemblies.

There's a US 72 that runs from Chattanooga to Memphis; it primarily runs north of the Tennessee River. The "US 72 Alternate" runs from AL 53 (at US 72) in Huntsville, and runs south of the Tennessee River, to meet up with US Routes 43/72 in Muscle Shoals.

So the Appalachian Development Corridor runs along Alterate US 72 for this stretch, not that Corridor V has an "Alternate" routing.
