Everything that gets put in front of them because it seems they don't even bother to read the proposals anymore.

Unfortunately, segments of I-42.

US 111 if it is submitted.

I think the host city should get a freebie :-)

I shouldn't suggest anything because that would be fictional

Maybe AASHTO and FHWA will realize their mistake and upgrade VA 164 to I-164. ;)

Perhaps NCDOT will apply for I-777.  :D

Hopefully, I-195 and the reroute of I-395 in DC get rejected.  :sombrero:

Is there a list of approvals up for a vote online yet?

I checked the document database and there's nothing from 2025 in it yet.

I can drive 55 ONLY when it makes sense.

When I joined here in 2011, I figured this was a slam dunk. Yet in 2025...

Quote from: formulanone on April 10, 2015, 05:06:04 PMThere's a Double-Secret Special Committee designed to ignore at least one interstate-quality and conveniently-numbered route in nearly every state, thus keeping conversion plans on hold indefinitely.

This would be the first new US Route in 20 years if approved. Let's see if it gets in...
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Got to have I-340 and I-342 first before they use 3di numbers without a parent in the state. There's no excuse for I-343 yet! :P
Quote from: Molandfreak on May 07, 2025, 10:00:12 AMUnfortunately, segments of I-42.
Which one? And which segements?

The Cimarron is ready, but would OK want to wait until they can do the whole bit from I-35 to Tulsa?

The Clayton - Selma bit is basically ready, but would NC want to wait until the I-95 junction is at least approved, let alone built?

---

I'm going with something along a KY Parkway as a likely development. I-365 (Cumberland) and I-569 (Western KY between I-69 and I-165. Presumably a hangover of I-66, because logically it would stretch to I-65). The Audubon is designated as a future I-x69 by KY, but not the feds - that seems most likely now that work is being done on I-69 in the Henderson area.

Actually - that's something likely to be in the Spring submission. I-69 in the Henderson area. As the bit to US60 is expected to open before the Fall meeting.

My understanding is that DDOT had this rescinded temporarily because they're having problems getting all the signs replaced. FWHA started asking questions because nothing was changed years after the change was approved and it was starting to cause confusion when 195 started appearing on the GPS apps and road maps.

I think I would be amenable to US 111; however, it should be something like US 327, use the US 227 again, make it a spilt of 25, US 25A or US 27E.  Another one could be US 37.

Max Rockatansky

Does anyone have an actual list of what AASHTO will be bringing before the Executive Committee?  I didn't see a list on the agenda they have on the AASHTO website.

The signs designating the Audubon as a future I-69 spur had been removed from that route the last time I traveled it.

The US Route Numbering committee does not have a meeting listed in the Hartford meeting's agenda. Perhaps they have already met and will have their approvals ratified there.

That'd explain why I can't find any 2025 documents in their database.

They normally don't put anything up until some time after the meeting. We normally find out what was discussed weeks later via someone personally asking for the information and then the docs arrive about a week later.
