Item 90: Marion needs Fiber ran down IL 13 more than IL 37 for stoplight syncing, tho useful also on 37

The difference it made in Carbondale a few years ago when IDOT ran fiber for the stoplights is night and day. Can usually get across town with only 1 or 2 red lights. Sometimes can clear with getting 0 red lights, even during the day

A long-planned project where the replacement railroad bridge was designed years ago but never constructed, and will fit in nicely with the concurrent add-lanes project on I-80 from Minooka to the east.

Sad to progressively see these go. Really, a relic of a previous era on Illinois roadways, and something that always made them look more unique. I get that they are aging and need to be replaced with more modern structures that meet current standards but still sad to see them go.

They have just completed the Washington St Bridge work in Downtown Naperville. While they were doing that, the intersection of Washington and Chicago had the temp wire signals up. To my shock, they did not replace one of the truss masts (SW corner).
