Kudos to anyone who had photos of routes that aren't derivatives of one another for today's challenge. I couldn't find any like that in my collection lol.

Bonus nearby junction featuring a sign goof: US 206 and US 209 in Milford:

Unfortunately, it may be unavoidable for me to avoid reusing junctions from Round 3 -- I only have so many photos of US Hwy jcts.  But I will try to post different pix of those junctions, when possible.

Time to start Season 4! This will focus on junctions where two US highways meet, and the criteria will depend on the tens digit of each route number. It looks like everyone is understanding the assignment well so far. Note that single-digit numbers do qualify as numbers with a 0 in the tens place (and in the hundreds place, and in the thousands place...).

I am open to opinions on what Seasons 5 and 6 will be based on. Feel free to chime in on what you think those challenges should be in September through December.

I'll suggest two ideas, each with 2 possible variations:

1. Go back to combinations of any highway types, either with no state restriction or any state except your home state;

2. Combinations of only state routes, again either with no state restriction or any state except your home state.

I think trying to go with interstates only would prove to be pretty problematic.

Except that it's not Interstates only.  As currently established, the daily challenge will be a junction of an Interstate with any other numbered route (Interstate, US, state).  I haven't started to go through my photos to compile a list, but I'm thinking it won't be any more of a challenge than seasons 1-4.

I am open to the input from participants about what they think is fair, now that people have some experience with the game.  Even if a good idea for a numerical route sign photo challenge isn't accepted for September through December of this year, I might be inclined to use that idea for next year.
