Wow... Great pics. And they even installed high mast lighting at WV 9. I would love to see what the rest will look like when finished.

Street View at the locations where the 522 bypass intersects surrounding roads hasn't been updated since September 2023, so it may be a while before that is updated (US 522 Street View on the north side of Berkley Springs, and north of town was updated last November).

Drove the new bypass Monday night on my "scenic" route from Buffalo, NY to Greensboro, NC. Realized I passed the turn and actually turned around to turn back East on WV-9 to take the built part of the new bypass. Only saw one car but did see a couple of deer - and this was at about 8:15 PM. Look forward for the northern section to be completed.

WVDOH has gone crazy with high mast lighting in the past decade. They've even ripped out continuous lighting that was done with regular light standards along the freeways in Charleston and Clarksburg and replaced them with high masts.
