Coming up next:
August 11: Post the junction of a US highway with a 5 in the tens place and a US highway with a 6 in the tens place.
August 12: Post the junction of a US highway with a 5 in the tens place and a US highway with a 7 in the tens place.
August 13: Post the junction of a US highway with a 5 in the tens place and a US highway with a 8 in the tens place.

Note that for season 3, starting in September, I do intend to stick to the original plan of one Interstate and one state or provincial highway. For international participants, "Interstate" may be replaced by Autoroute or Motorway. I'll even accept TCH as "Interstate" in that challenge. Basically, the meaning of "Interstate" can be broadened to "a route composing part of a nationwide network of expressways." The wording of each daily challenge in September and October will look like this: "Post signage describing a junction of an Interstate and a state/provincial highway, of which one route number ends in X and the other route number ends in Y." In November and December, the text will look like this: "Post signage describing a junction of an Interstate and a state/provincial highway, of which one route number has X in the tens place and the other route number has Y in the tens place."  I am open to comments if people want to tweak how this works.
