Already did requests for VA 157. VA 271 is decently posted.

"But how will the oxen know where to drown if we renumber the Oregon Trail?" - NE2

VA271 needs to be posted at the intersection with Gayton.  If I ran the state, VA271 would just stay on Nuckols to its end past I295 and VA157 would use Gaskins to pass over I64 instead of Pemberton.

The funny thing about that is during PlanRVA's public comment period for their latest regional transportation plan, I called for VA 271 to be extended westward from its current endpoint in Goochland County along SR 620 and SR 617 back to US 250 (obviously it would be changed from north/south to east/west). Both of those secondary routes are fairly well built and could be primary and it would give VA 271 an interchange with I-64. I left VA 271's current routing alone in the proposal.

During the same public comment, I also suggested moving VA 157 onto Gaskins and Hungary Roads (between Quioccasin Road and US 33) to eliminate that weird curvy loop near Echo Lake from the primary system.

Throughout this whole signage project of mine, I had completely forgotten about VA 184 in Cape Charles. The signage for VA 184 basically disappears after the Fig St/Randolph Ave intersection. I submitted a request asking about it - a VDOT engineer just called me back and told me that since the streets in Cape Charles are VDOT-maintained, they are going to put up more 184 signs along its routing in Cape Charles, including signage where it terminates at Washington Ave and Pine St. They plan to have signs up in about 2 to 3 weeks.

I didn't request it and wasn't able to get pictures of it but there are now begin and end signs for VA 195 and I-195 at the exact point where the route designation changes (basically within the triangle of 195, VA 76, and VA 146).

There's always been begin and end signs of some sort at that end of I-195 but they've never been in the right place (usually they'd be just before or after the toll plaza).

other eastern shore:

VA 187 whose eastern end is not signed and the turn at SR 679 is poorly signed WB.
VA 179 is not posted AFAIK west of VA 126.  It should definitely be posted at SR 718 Pine St and at endpoint

GMSV still doesn't have coverage so can't determine if VA 180 is still poorly posted on both ends

The engineers out there seem to be willing to do the work so I might put in requests.

GSV has coverage of VA 180 up to just inside the Wachapreague town limits (there isn't a blue line but I was able to find it using MapGenerator) and there is a VA 180 shield just leaving town, and a very new-looking white rectangle at SR 605 and another one at SR 1714 that you can only see the back of.

Sadly the coverage abruptly ends at the SR 1714 intersection.

I submitted requests for VA 179 and VA 187. Let's see what happens.
