I stumbled on this thread tonight when I ran of Gribblenation in the Yahoo search engine.  The Sure Why Not blog mentioned here was eventually rebranded as the current Gribblenation.org.

I still remember our Facebook page only having about 200 followers when I started writing for the page in July 2017.  The first blog I did for the current page was published on July 25, 2017:

Interesting how things change.  Back in July 2017 I had just started dating my now wife (we met on June 27th).  It is amusing to think back to her reaction when I told her that I was writing stuff on a highway blog.

I think we as a page really caught lighting in a bottle over the next couple years, especially on Facebook.  I don't think a lot of hobby pages were really on modern social media platforms at the time.  We current stand at 18,314 Facebook followers and just got our first 200,000 plus view month on Gribblenation.org.

If I remember right a significant portion of the old page was uploaded by Doug and Adam over the years.  The old hub page was actually accessible until something like 2020/2021 but mostly had dead links.
