Supposed to be 95F today and 98F tomorrow.  That is mild for the Central Valley so I'll be taking some time off tomorrow to drive some PG&E powerhouse roads.

Currently very average outside here in Tulsa for this time of year, 90 and sunny. Monday beckons, though, with a high of 68 degrees! I'm surprised this massive cooldown is not making national news yet.

Currently 68 degrees and misting outside here in Tulsa. Do my eyes deceive me that it is still August?

No highs above 80 for the rest of the month. Huzzah.

Max Rockatansky

It was 76F and about 70% when I got up to run this morning.  There were thunderstorms to the north and east which is strange for an August morning in Fresno.  Presently there is a thunderstorm crossing over my house and there is some sprinkling.

Mid to high 90s for the rest of the week. These past couple weeks really have been a "fool's fall", with some of the highs of the past week only being in the mid 60s!

Roadgeekteen

Today was a pretty warm day for mid-September in Massachusetts, about 80 degrees.

Only two of the next fourteen days without a projected high in the 70s here. One is tomorrow with only a high of 51 and rain most of the day.

It is 73 degrees today, a perfect fall weather day.

Mid 60s and cloudy all day with some rain, a much worse weather day than before.

Weather in the 70s again, another quite warm day for late September.

It got up to 90 degrees today in Tulsa, but it was perhaps the nicest 90 degrees I've ever been in, with low humidity and no clouds in the sky. Hopefully after this week we really start to get into fall. I'm sure as heck ready for it.

For some reason here in Tulsa late August-early September and late-September-early October have decided to switch their weather around. Sunny with highs in the upper 80s and even 90s up into mid-October, even though it was in the 60s and 70s at the beginning of the month.

It does feel weird that tomorrow is October 3 with a forecast high temp in Wichita of 89°F—especially considering we often have to wear winter coats and gloves to go trick-or-treating on Halloween.

On the other hand, I see now that, in the last ten years, there were two years with a high temp over 90°F.

Yesterday the high was a breezy 74F.  Made for downright pleasant weather to go hiking in obscure places in the Diablo Range.  It is supposed to be 82F today, but I'll probably leave the windows open.

ozarkman417

There's only one day this week in which the highs are supposed to dip below 80. I'm really concerned that the leaves on the trees around here are going to go straight to brown instead of producing color.

Roadgeekteen

Yet another very warm day, at 84 and sunny. Certainly feels more like summer than fall here.
