Nah, I know that the Razorbacks suck (in football, they are good in basketball, baseball and other sports).

Wow, big upset for South Florida over Florida. Also my beloved UMass Minuteman just lost to a team that went 2-10 in FCS last year. Oof.

FIFY.

Much like Calipari, Stoops is wearing out his welcome in Kentucky.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

UMass might be fighting Akron and Kent State for the basement of the MAC

Arkansas with maybe the worst choke of the season. They could have kneeled the ball and kicked the game-winning field goal.

Duplicating a feat previously pulled off by Brian Kelly against Tulsa in 2010.

The kicker is shit. He missed 2 last week, and they lost by 6 points. Fire Pittman.

Both misses were from longer than this kick would be. Also yeah Pittman's time is up.

What happened to Illinois, especially since they were ranked at #9? They got their butt beaten by #19 Indiana 63-10!

They shouldn't have been ranked that high to begin with.

poll inertia from bringing back lots of last years team plus Alabama and Notre Dame losing just kind of boosted them into the top 10. Their best win was at a so-so Duke team.

I'd take Alabama or Notre Dame any day in a matchup against this seasons Illinois team.  Illinois beat up on nobody's leading into the game today.  If anything it kind of legitimizes the season Indiana had last year with a playoff berth.

For Alabama and Notre Dame, it's comparing Duke, Wisconsin, and Purdue, all mediocre power teams. It's too early to evaluate all these teams fully- we are only 1/3 into the season and barely into conference play.

Ranking teams before the end of September is an entirely pointless exercise.

Wisconsin's problems can hardly be overstated. That program is seriously fading in relevancy in the WI sports scene. 20, 15, 10, even 5 years ago a Badger game day was a much bigger deal than it is now. Used to be up there with the Packers, now it's in line with the Bucks and Brewers.

I was disappointed to see VPI fire their coach. He was doing a wonderful job.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

In all seriousness, if UVA does not cream VT this year, I do not know what to tell you.

My Mizzou Tigers are off to another hot start, moving to 4-0 with a 29-20 win over South Carolina that felt (at least to me) that it shouldn't have even been that close. SC finished the game with a total of -9 rushing yards; most of their offense came on a handful of long passing plays with busted coverages, which can be fixed. We host UMass for our homecoming game Saturday night, so (with apologies to @Roadgeekteen) I think it's a safe bet we will still be undefeated and ranked when Alabama comes to town next.

If Mizzou does manage to win 10 games again this season, it will be the first time in school history they've ever recorded double-digit wins in three consecutive seasons.
