Quote from: thenetwork on September 28, 2025, 07:59:22 PMI still cant figure out how the Vikings are playing 2 European games in a row.  Is it punishment?

They actually are fine with it. They want to expand their European outreach and knock off two road games on a neutral site.

From Fort Worth Star-Telegram: Here's every time a Dallas Cowboys game finished in a tie:
  • Sept. 28, 2025: Cowboys 40, Green Bay Packers 40 (at AT&T Stadium)
  • Nov. 27, 1969: Cowboys 24, San Francisco 49ers 24 (at the Cotton Bowl)
  • Oct. 16, 1966: Cowboys 10, St. Louis Cardinals 10 (at Busch Memorial Stadium in St. Louis)
  • Oct. 11, 1964: Cowboys 13, New York Giants 13 (at the Cotton Bowl)
  • Sept. 16, 1962: Cowboys 35, Washington Redskins 35 (at the Cotton Bowl)
  • Nov. 19, 1961: Cowboys 28, Washington Redskins 28 (at the Cotton Bowl)
  • Dec. 4, 1960: Cowboys 31, New York Giants 31 (at Yankee Stadium in New York)

From Yahoo Sports!: Packers' history with overtime ties is brief but memorable. Here's a look:
  • Sept. 28, 2025: 40-40 at Dallas
  • Sept. 16, 2018: 29-29 vs. Minnesota
  • Nov. 24, 2013: 26-26 vs. Minnesota
  • Sept. 20, 1987: 17-17 vs. Denver
  • Dec. 19, 1982: 20-20 at Baltimore

We may see a 70-70 Packers game in our lifetimes; there's a clear trend

Seems like George Pickens of the Coeboys plus many of the fans didn't know that ties existed.

The new OT rule ensuring both teams get 1 possession in the 10-minute OT period makes ties more likely

I'm not losing any sleep over this, neither team deserved to win.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Quote from: thspfc on September 28, 2025, 07:47:23 PMSomehow, it seems likely that the AFCN will be contested by the Melatonin dream Steelers and Jake Browning Bengals.
I take that back, the Bengals somehow took an even worse beating than last week, when they played the worst half I've ever seen from an NFL team. The Steelers become the first team to clinch their division in 2025, and not by virtue of being great.

Could have done without seeing that Tyreek Hill knee dislocation in intimate detail.

In checking the schedule, there are no more SNF appearances scheduled for the Cowboys, so unless they improve, I don't see any games being flexed in. The Cowboys need a better D Fence if they hope to get into the playoffs.

I'll just continue to watch the games via highlight reels posted on YouTube.

Man Joe Burrow must be the greatest NFL playoff of all time for winning with that Bengals team
