At least three of the Wild Card series will get a Game 3, and that includes the "spousal series" in Chicago, which I've dubbed for obvious reasons. (We were only 14 years old when the original postseason matchup took place back in '84, so we had not yet met, and wouldn't for another four years.)

At the Tigers managed to get out of the Wildcard round.  That makes me feel slightly better given the collapse at the end of the regular season didn't tank everything.

Yankees beat the Red Sox, advance to face the Blue Jays. It sucks, but I do think the Sox kind of backed into the playoffs this year. This may have been their peak.
