Any two digit interstate in GA ending with 5 or 0 should have minimum of six lanes at this point to be honest, and eventually the rest of I-16 probably as well. With the exception of I-95 (already six lanes anyway), having them all converge (or feed into one that converges) on Atlanta contributes into the traffic everywhere.
