I always figured those apartments were company housing.  Interesting to see confirmation of that.

What makes them think things will turn out better than it did a couple miles up I-15 in Jean?

This isn't even the first time Terrible's has run Primm. The company which is pulling out of Primm, Affinity Gaming, was formerly Herbst Gaming, a Terrible's subsidiary which was spun off when Terrible's went through a bankruptcy reorganization in 2010. The Terrible's Casino in Jean closed in 2020. Both of those dates to me kind of indicate that Terrible's was victim to the goings-on in the world at the time (the financial crisis and the pandemic, the latter of which finished off a good number of off-Strip casinos, including Texas Station and the Eastside Cannery).

Maybe they can move the giant Terrible's Hotel & Casino sign that's still up in Jean down to Primm.

I might give Primm a try depending on how all this goes over the next year.  I stayed there a long time ago and I didn't dislike it.  I didn't much care for my stay up in Jean but it was cheap.
