You either attended middle school for upwards of 30 years or attended two (or more) middle schools for this to be realistic—assuming you mean the anniversary of the opening of the schools.

My local Elementary School District has a school for 4-6 Grades (was 5-6 when I was there) and a school for 7-8 grades.

Been hearing a little about the guy kayaking down the Congo River Basin. Just looking at the region from Google feels intimidating through the sheer remoteness. The view videos I was able to find of the Inga Rapids are incredible with how violent the water moves through them.

Not sure if you've ever seen the channel, but if you watch Itchy Boots on YouTube, she does a season where she goes from Morocco to Tanzania and some of the drives through that part of the world were crazy. (And this comes from a person who has traveled in Africa several times and is a very unafraid international traveler.)

Yep, for sure. It didn't put me off overlanding through Africa, but maybe gave me pause. DRC is a whole different beast. On my last trip to Africa, I thought about transiting through Kinshasa (or Lubumbashi) but decided against it. If I spoke better French, maybe I'd give it a go.

It was a hypothetical possibility for me when I was in middle school and we almost relocated to Dublin, OH.  Whatever job my dad had lined up in 1997 fell through and we moved to Lansing, MI instead.  There certainly was Michigan fans who were students at Michigan State.

The University president kicking them out of the Horseshoe for wearing a Michigan shirt, whilst in the Ohio State student section, while they play an ACC team.

- Why would they do that and thus forfeit the tuition they're collecting from the student?
- If someone felt that the university erred in declaring them a Michigan fan, would there be some means of appealing that determination? Would they have to sue the school?
- What if the person just really liked the block M from the Michigan highway sign?
- What if the person was a Michigan fan but didn't wear the shirt in public and just did something like watch the games in their dorm room?
- What if the person was an OU fan instead of a Michigan fan? What if they were a UNLV fan? Or a fan of Ferris State? Would that matter?
- Is a state-funded institution prohibiting the expression of a point of view (i.e. support for another school) a violation of the 1st Amendment? Why or why not?
