In the model railroad world, there is a company that sells highway signs for model train layouts.  They are Blair Line, LLC (www.blairline.com).  Just wondering what y'all thought about their product line.

I have seen them on various module layouts.  Generally they arent too bad except for the font (Arial, it seems).  N-scale cutouts would be difficult at best, so most of their markers are the squares...

I might want to look at these for my HO layout.  Thank you for sharing; I'll look for comments on this thread before buying.

I really like their products.  Their signs are era specific up to the mid or late 1990s.  I think they are easy to use and look great.  You almost want to send the US shields to the DOT and say, "Hey! Why not?"   :-D

I don't remember which company it was, but I had an ESSO gas station with my HO layout many many years ago. When ESSO rebranded, I asked the company if they had new decals for EXXON, and received a new set of signs, not just the decals.

While looking at the HO signs, I noticed that the "DETOUR" arrow was black and white, not black and orange.

I see everything is watermarked to stop people grabbing the images and printing them out for free rather than buying them. However, the highway and traffic signs have gray watermarking which with brightness and contrast alterations in Photoshop should be removable.

...or you could just download the SVGs from Wikipedia, resize them in Inkscape, and print them out and get all the signs you want in the correct font :P
