Does Route 1 along the coast west of Santa Monica have Los Angeles as a southbound control city?

For northbound 805, its at the junction for Route 905:

As for the 94, I don't think San Diego is used for westbound traffic.

I would note that Las Vegas isn't used as a control city anywhere on I-515 itself, and very rarely along side streets which, due to being older signs, opt for things like "Downtown".

I would also say that future I-11 would not count separately, cause that is essentially US 93 . . . IF I-11 is even embraced as a viable concept such to get the necessary money for upgrading.

Wow, one more than Lansing.  Impressive.

M-10 has plenty of examples where the control city is Detroit and not some location that merely implies it.
I demand an apology.

Just remembered three more freeways with L.A. as its control city: I-40 West and Loop 202 (both in Arizona) and Route 71 (Chino Valley Freeway) in Pomona.

I am not sure does anyone know about I-39 in WI and Rockford and US 12 in WI have Chicago?
67 and IL 155 should be St Louis but I think they are Alton

Indy has a lot to 74 from Peoria on as well as 65,70 and 69

In terms of 2 dis it would be really hard to beat Chicago and St. Louis

Interstate Trav

Thats right, I-40 west, can't belive I forgot that one.  Loop 202 is signs Los Angeles?  Wow secondary next state loop routes list Los Angeles.

I think Los Angeles might have Chicago beat.

ToledoRoadgeek

For a city of it's size, Toledo has a decent amount: I-75 NB and SB, I-80/90 EB and WB, US 23 SB, US 24 EB, OH 2 WB, I-275 (MI) SB, I-480 WB.  I know Toledo is signed a couple times on I-80/94 in NW Indiana, and I know at one time it was signed on I-80 EB in Joliet.  Not sure if that is still the case.  I'm also pretty sure there's a sign on I-270 in Columbus at the US 23 exit directing Toledo traffic to exit there.  But anyone who makes the drive knows it's faster to go I-71/US 36/US 23 to get north :-).

The 39 SB control city is Madison.  South of Madison, Chicago is used.  But Rockford also makes many appearances.
As for US 12 in Walworth County, I recall Lake Geneva being used as a control city.

I-155 SB uses Lincoln, but I recall Decatur making an appearance on one of the distance signs; St. Louis doesn't pop up for US 67 until the entrance to the Clark Bridge.
