Star Trek (TOS) also had Joan Collins (Dynasty), Julie Newmar ("Catwoman" from the 60's TV Batman) and Mariette Hartley (Peyton Place, Logan's Run).
which episode of TOS had Julie Newmar?  I do know that one episode in Season 3 had Yvonne Craig (Batgirl) in it.  Her character (in full-body green make-up) gets blown up during the episode.

Mariette Hartley also appeared in a Season 3 episode of TOS.

I just watched a episode of Gilligans Island where Kurt Russell played a native island boy. KR didnt have many lines, mainly repeating what people said to him. KR looked to be 7-10 yrs old.
He was also in an early episode of Lost In Space about a year later.

He also played a minister in several episodes of The Waltons as well prior to Three's Company.

In 1970, Farrah Fawcett appeared on an early episode of The Partridge Family.

When I saw that episode 15 years ago (when it first aired), I knew exactly who he was (ditto beardy Branson and Fergie). The producers and writers planned for that to happen - 'twas what they wanted.

Well, call me uneducated because I didn't know who he was. My mistake

I guess it would make y'all happy if I mentioned a young Wayne Newton on Bonanza rather than a guy who was big in another country that I didn't know about because I don't live in said country.

In 1988 Craig Ferguson made his acting debut in a series I episode of the BBC Sci-Fi Sitcom, Red Dwarf. He played the main charachter's confidence who was given life due to a weird mutated virus. "Confidence and Paranoia" is the title of the episode.

In later episodes, you have cameos from other actors, and even one for Harry Potter/Doctor Who Fans, Mark Williams (Ron Weasley/ Rory's Dad) was in it for a few apperances. (the show is set after everyone on the ship dies, so he only appears in season 1 and 2 flashbacks to pre-accident days)
