US/State mixup shield error signs

Someone a few posts above posted an erroneous US 25... I recently found the same mistake at the other end of the country, in Connecticut. On CT 127 northbound, the left turn onto Old Town Road in Trumbull (barely over the line from Bridgeport) is marked for US 25 instead of the correct CT 25. (It's also missing a "TO" banner - but that is common for all of the shields for this left turn, which is also marked for I-95, CT 15, and CT 8 South.) Unfortunately I failed to get a photo when I saw it, and it must be new since August 2024 since Street View shows it correctly.

Nothing particularly looks wrong here at first but this is actually at the northern end of TX 147 in Shelby County, this is supposed to be TX 87.



On the plus side, they did get it right at the actual intersection

I think someone in Port Clinton, OH's sign department must really like Florida's old colored US Highway shields, because they decided to imitate them for this OH 53 shield.

I wasn't in position for a photo, but Ohio 20A signs were installed instead of US 20A at the DDI at new exit 5 of I-475 in Maumee.
