What Will Happen to I-229?

I remember reading a news story about MDOT looking into what should be done about I-229 in St. Joseph. It said the viaduct there is old and in need of repair, but they weren't sure if it should be replaced as an interstate grade facility. Has anything been decided about this corridor?
