Around I-5/WA-531 in Lakewood

Decided to go outside and take some pictures of the area on foot, got some decent pictures.

Starting off with a sign gantry on I-5



I-5 southbound from the bridge...



...and northbound on the other side



The City of Marysville decided to build a new overpass a mile south of the existing bridge and want to convert it into a full-fledged SPUI. Not even kidding.



It cost a cool $13 million, according to the nearby sign



The WA-531 bridge has two signs that name the bridge after a local city councilman who lobbied to get the interchange improved



Here's the other sign (looking west)



Some HOV lanes



And the loop ramp on the other side of WA-531
