New Member in Texas

Greetings to all at AARoads Forum. After browsing here off & on for a while, I have taken the plunge and joined up. In a nutshell, I grew up reading highway blueprints that my road construction foreman Grandfather always had in his pickup truck. Spent time around road construction sites as a kid in the 60s and actually worked some myself in the 70s pouring concrete and building small bridges & culverts. Did a stint truck driving for a few years after that. Guess I just got the open road in my blood. God how I love it. Good thing I found this place.
