New here! As you can tell, my name is Ed, I'm from New Orleans.

I've been interested in roads and maps since I was a little kid (I used to have a lot of hand-drawn maps, but they've all disappeared now). Used to work for the Mass highway Department til i could no longer stand the cold weather and winter darkness of New England.

I also like RV Droz's Great International Highway Makeover http://www.us-highways.com/new_signs.htm and I have a "me-too" blog http://intlhwymakeover.blogspot.com/ with my own route marker ideas on it.
