TDOT is having a contest to choose creative messages for it's statewide VMS signs.

The initial message "nominations" period has ended and TDOT has now announced their finalists.  Voting ends Feb 6th.

This is pretty cool!

I voted for the "DON'T BE A PAIN! SIGNAL FIRST TO CHANGE A LANE" one. I've seen way too much of people failing to turn on their blinkers when changing lanes. But all of those messages were pretty good I must say
